Pre-Press

We are fully equipped to receive artwork in both Mac and PC format and can help with transferring artwork from a wide number of software programs using email or a dedicated upload server.

We have in-house design and artwork facilities and can take on part or all of your design requirements from a new corporate image to artwork for a newsletter. What is frequently mistakenly described as quality ‘printing’ is actually excellent artwork. We can only print what we are given and it will often make sense to pay a bit more for artwork and design (even for something as simple as a short run door drop leaflet) as the impact of the final result will far outweigh the extra cost.

Free advice is always available. We are here to help. Our artwork and design costs are extremely reasonable for projects we will eventually be printing.

Print

All our litho printing presses are supplied by Heidelberg. This choice has proved beneficial over the years with these superior presses enabling us to produce the highest quality results time and time again; especially since computer software has made the intracacy of a design almost limitless. As detailed elsewhere, our digital Xerox option completes the picture and ensures efficiency and cost-effectiveness across a broad array of printed products.

Finishing

We have continued to invest heavily in finishing equipment to enable us to retain control, finish most of our print in-house and offer a service to the local trade following the closure of other finishing businesses in Norfolk. We offer PUR book binding and Wire binding of books and calendars direct to customers and also local printers with our discrete trade service. Our litho cutting and creasing capability enables us to process long run cutting and creasing extremely cost effectively, particularly with kiss cut labels. Creasing and folding of leaflets and cards has been greatly enhanced with the introduction of Morgana’s Autocreaser 500 and integral Autofold Pro.
